Pros: Inexpensive, close to the wall, perfect for a flat look, works for any size TV.

Cons: no tilting mechanism, difficult to plug devices and wires.

Pros:  Moves left and right, adjustable viewing angle, easy to plug wires, works for any size TV..

Cons: Sits further from the wall, costs more than fixed or tilting mount.

They are only designed for particular models of TVs that are compatible.
