Flat or fixed TV Mounts is the closest to the wall you can mount a traditional non-frame TV.

Cons: no tilting mechanism, difficult to plug devices and wires. 

Tilting TV wall mounts enables you to tilt the TV from 5 - 15 degrees. Perfect when you need to adjust the angle of viewing.

Pros: Inexpensive, close to the wall, adjustable viewing angle, easier to plug wires, works for any size TV..

Cons: no motion mechanism, some customer don't prefer a downward view.

Full motion TV wall mounts are a fully flexible solution with ability to move left and right as well as tilt.

Pros:  Moves left and right, adjustable viewing angle, easy to plug wires, works for any size TV..

Cons: Sits further from the wall, costs more than fixed or tilting mount. 

Frame TV wall mounts are the closest to the wall any TV can be.

They are only designed for particular models of TVs that are compatible.

Pros: closest to the wall, flat frame look.

Cons: only works for specific TV models
